Martin Angel makes a second visit this year to trap and identify moths in the Reserve.

On Sunday 29 September between 10 am and 4 pm, we will be holding one of our regular volunteer days.  This has been specifically extended to be part of the Blackwater River Festival and we are hoping for additional volunteers to come for a taster.  Just turn up with sturdy footwear if you want to join in.
In the evening will be Moth Trapping, starting at sundown (about 6.45 pm).  Come along, some diehards may stay till gone midnight but you can get a good idea in 30 or 40 minutes.
Between volunteering and moth trapping, the Field Centre will be open.  We will definitely be serving teas, etc. and we are thinking of a BBQ.
